I worked as a hockey coach for children ages 3-5 teaching them how to skate and later as an overnight camp counsellor at Camp Kiway. Being a camp counsellor has been able to teach me so many lessons and given me the opportunity to bond and care for over 240 different kids in my career!!

One of my strengths lies in my ability to work with children who have additional needs or present more challenges. During my third year working at camp, I was given the position of "inclusion", which is a higher ranked staff member who instead of having a group of kids to stay with, focused on the ones who needed a bit more attention, this role also includes being the person a counsellor calls when they need extra help/support.

I've never specifically nannied before, but at camp the funniest thing would be when my campers were convinced I was 60 years old and would ask me if I had kids!!!
