A little bit about me

Hello! I am just completed my freshman year at college majoring in elementary & special education. I have a passion for children and learning. Combining both loves was one factor which led me to a future career as an elementary education teacher. During my senior year of high school, I was a classroom aid in an multiple disabilities classroom at Maysville Elementary for a semester which led to my current dual licensure program. While in Jr. High, I began assisting with child care as Sunday School teacher, nursery attendant, VBS small group assistant and leader. Outside of church, I have provided at home child care for family and friends. As a college student, I tutored at-risk high school students. I am comfortable in the kitchen and food preparation. I will complete light housework and I do not rely on technology to entertain. I prefer engaging kids through hands on activities, games, crafts, or outside play whenever possible.
