More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with children in preschool, summer camp, indoor play, and private nanny settings, including lesson planning, classroom management, and developmental activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love turning ordinary days into little adventures—following a child’s curiosity, noticing what makes them light up, and building activities around their unique interests. We might invent a story, make something with our hands, explore a new trail, care for animals, or pause to watch the world unfold around us. I’m always looking for creative ways to make learning feel natural, playful, and exciting.
I connect with children through imagination, enthusiasm, and genuine attention. Whether we’re getting messy with an art project, moving our bodies outside, or sharing a quiet moment of wonder, I want each child to feel seen, encouraged, and free to explore. My favorite days are filled with questions, laughter, creativity, and the kind of small discoveries that become lasting memories.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is earning the trust of both children and parents. I want to be a calm, loving, and dependable presence in a child’s life—someone they can turn to, feel understood by, and be completely themselves around. I believe care is built through consistency, patience, and genuine attention to each child’s unique personality.
Every child deserves unconditional love and a trusted role model who encourages confidence, supports growing independence, and nurtures curiosity. I also want parents to feel reassured knowing their children are safe, cherished, and thoughtfully cared for while they’re away.
Being welcomed into a family’s life and trusted with their children is something I never take for granted. To me, being a nanny is about more than providing care; it’s about building a steady, respectful relationship grounded in trust, communication, love, and support, and becoming a meaningful presence as a child grows.

My experience with special needs children...
I have completed coursework through SNHU focused on curriculum and special needs, which gave me a deeper understanding of creating supportive, individualized learning environments.
While my experience has not been specifically focused on special-needs care, I believe my patience, empathy, adaptability, and genuine love for children would allow me to be a thoughtful and supportive addition to a care team. I’m always eager to learn each child’s individual needs and meet them with patience, understanding, and encouragement.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of nannying is getting to experience the world through a child’s eyes. There’s something so special about seeing their genuine excitement when they learn or experience something that feels completely ordinary to us for the very first time.
One moment that has always stuck with me was with a little boy I nannied when he was four. He had outgrown naps, so one day I took him along with me to run an errand during what used to be his naptime. He was genuinely amazed that the whole world didn’t stop for a nap just because it was naptime!
It was such a sweet, innocent little moment, but I loved watching him make that connection for himself. Those little discoveries are some of my favorite parts of being a nanny.
