In teaching, we did so many indoor activities like reading, puppets, singing, dancing, sensory bins, we did movies with activities, scavenger hunts, and lots of art. For outdoor activities, we had time in the sprinkler, outdoor discovery, dancing, music, playground time, and messy activities were usually done outside.
My experience with special needs children...
I only had 3 months with a child that had special needs, and I was a teachers assistant at the time. That child had autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment working with kids was when I had all of my students outside eating snowballs and playing in the sprinkler. they had so much fun, and they laughing and splashing each other.
