The most important part about being a nanny is putting the children first and being that second nurturing figure when their parent(s) are not around. Being someone who they can trust and also be themselves around. It’s about providing the parent(s) with the certainty that while they are away, their child or children are in good hands and are well taken care of until they return. I’ve always looked at it as if I had my own kids and I was in search of a nanny, I would want someone who is trustworthy, nurturing, and caring to help my children grow.
