More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my time as a dance teacher and a preschool teacher. In both roles, I worked with children of various ages, helping them develop new skills, build confidence, and engage in creative activities. As a dance teacher, I fostered a fun and disciplined environment while making sure every child felt encouraged and supported. As a preschool teacher, I created educational activities that were both fun and developmentally appropriate, helping children grow emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Both roles gave me valuable experience in child care and development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging kids in a variety of activities that are both fun and educational! I enjoy arts and crafts projects, where kids can explore their creativity and develop fine motor skills. I also love playing outdoor games, like soccer or scavenger hunts, to keep them active and promote teamwork. Reading stories is another favorite of mine, as it sparks their imagination and helps with language development. Additionally, I enjoy doing dance and movement activities, encouraging kids to express themselves through music and body movement. Overall, I aim to provide activities that are interactive, creative, and promote learning in a fun, engaging way!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel valued and understood. It’s about building trust and forming strong connections, so they can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. A great nanny not only cares for the physical needs of a child but also encourages their growth, curiosity, and confidence. The ability to be flexible, patient, and always present in the moment is key to fostering a positive and enriching experience for both the child and their family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with a 12-year-old boy who had special needs, which taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and adaptability. I supported him in various activities, creating a structured and calm environment that helped him thrive. I worked on developing his social, emotional, and cognitive skills by engaging him in activities tailored to his needs. We focused on building trust and encouraging independence through consistent routines and positive reinforcement. This experience deepened my ability to work with children with unique needs, allowing me to be more resourceful in providing care and support.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is watching the kids I care for grow and develop into their own unique individuals. There’s something so special about being part of their journey and seeing them reach milestones, from taking their first steps to mastering new skills. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing their personalities bloom, their confidence grow, and their interests expand. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the little ones I’ve cared for develop into kind, curious, and capable kids. Being able to support them through these formative years and knowing that I played a role in helping them become who they are today is something I’ll always cherish.
