Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Prior to becoming a nanny, I worked as a caretaker at a group home for children with mental and physical disabilities for 2 years. I then transitioned into becoming a daycare teacher for the YMCA for 3 years. Afterwards, I became a toddler and preschool teacher at Bright Horizons for 3 years. I have been a nanny since 2014.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have a strong preference for outdoor activities such a nature walks, athletics, going to the beach, swimming and playground playdates.
Fun indoor activities include arts and crafts, science activities, creative play, learning an instrument and language lessons.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most about being a nanny is becoming apart of the family. Nanny’s spend copious amounts of time with the children they care for and are helping to mold the children into curious and creative people.

I have cared for children with autism, learning disabilities, Asperger’s and social-emotional disabilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was during a nanny share. We were learning about gardening, our project was growing radishes using a greenhouse effect. We grew planted the seeds in balloons and hung them in the sun. The children were able to see the progression of their radishes over the next 2 weeks. It was so much fun.
