I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old, gaining over a decade of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages—from newborns to teenagers up to 15 years old. My experience includes daytime and overnight babysitting, giving me a strong foundation in managing everything from nap schedules and bottle feedings to homework help and bedtime routines.
In addition to working with families in my community, I have also helped care for my own siblings, which has further strengthened my ability to multitask, stay patient under pressure, and build meaningful, trusting relationships with children. I love to be outdoors with kids riding bikes, going to the park, or for a walk. I also am happy to spend time inside playing board games, watching a movie, or teaching kids self entertainment.
My experience with special needs children...
I also have personal experience caring for children with special needs. My cousin has Down syndrome, and spending time with her has helped me develop a greater sensitivity to individual needs, as well as skills in communication, emotional support, and adaptive care. I understand how important it is to create a safe, loving, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
