The most important part about being a nanny...
one of my favorite memories from babysitting was actually a year ago. i was babysitting my neighbors kid who’s about 6 now. he loved disney movies especially the princesses. we were rewatching tangled and i had came in with snacks. when i sat down and got situated he came and curled up next to me and said “thank you for always being my friend”. i never knew how much you truly mean to a kid until you spend countless days with them. it’s my favorite memory because i’m glad kids know i’m there for them and have their back. it was simple but truly bittersweet.
