Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an active babysitter throughout highschool, and babysat in Columbus during my Sophomore year of College. In highschool I was apart of a program in which I learned how to lesson plan for children aged anywhere from preschool to the eighth grade, and actively student taught in a preschool classroom, as well as a first and fourth grade classroom.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors! Going to parks, staying off screens, making crafts, you name it! I also love music, and will not hesitate to incorporate it into any activity!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe kids learn through experience. I would love to go to the zoo to learn about the animals, the park to learn about different plants and how to keep our bodies active, and even Fossil Park to learn about dinosaurs. I am all for hands on learning.
