Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I may not have formal nanny experience, but I’ve spent a lot of time around kids at family events, where I’d play with them, keep an eye on them, and make sure they were entertained while the parents were busy. I genuinely love being around children — making them laugh, keeping them engaged, and being someone they can have fun and feel safe with. I’m also CPR certified and have experience in first aid, as I’m currently in college studying to become an athletic trainer. I’m confident, responsible, and always ready to help where I’m needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with kids and engaging in fun, creative activities that help them grow and express themselves. Whether we're doing arts and crafts, storytelling, or playing games, I always make sure to contribute to the little ideas they come up with- a child's imagination is nothing to be played with. I also love going outside with them, whether it's for a walk, a fun outing, or just to explore and be active. I enjoy doing outdoor activities that keep me engaged and moving. On top of that, I love teaching them how to do certain things, whether it's tying their shoes, learning how to ride a bike, or helping them discover new skills. I'm always happy to help with homework too, making sure they not only get it done, but also understand what they're learning. Supporting their creativity, education, and confidence is something I truly enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, being a nanny means more than just watching over a child — it’s about building trust, creating a safe and positive environment, and truly connecting with them. I think it’s important to be dependable, patient, and someone the child can feel comfortable and happy around. Whether it’s keeping them entertained, helping with routines, or just being there when they need a laugh or some comfort, I believe showing up with care and intention makes all the difference. Safety is always my priority, and with my CPR and first aid experience, I’m confident in handling whatever comes up.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite moments with kids have been during family gatherings, when I’d end up playing with them, making them laugh, and keeping them entertained while the adults were busy. I love how kids can be so naturally funny — they’ll say the most unexpected things that have me genuinely laughing out loud. It’s those unfiltered, silly moments that make spending time with them so fun and meaningful. Being around kids just feels natural to me, and I really enjoy being someone they can have fun and feel safe with.
