More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to my babysitting experience, I worked as a rock climbing instructor in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where I led children ages 6 to 14 in outdoor climbing sessions. I focused on creating a fun and supportive environment, taught safety protocols, and designed age-appropriate activities to help build their confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills. This experience deepened my ability to connect with kids of different ages in active, engaging ways.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m a very crafty and creative person with endless ideas for activities tailored to each child’s unique personality. With many hobbies of my own and a deep passion for both art and sports, I love sharing a wide range of enriching experiences. I especially enjoy spending time outdoors—exploring, playing, and connecting with nature—but we never run out of fun indoors either. Some of my favorite activities include drawing, painting, beading, role-playing, reading stories, coloring, baking, and singing together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is understanding the responsibility of caring for someone’s most precious person—their child. It means showing up with integrity, clear communication, and a proactive attitude, always ensuring the child’s safety, happiness, and healthy development.
My experience with special needs children...
While I don’t have direct experience caring for children with special needs, I have been around them and am open and willing to learn. I approach every child with patience, respect, and a genuine desire to understand their unique needs. I’m always committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was during a snowy afternoon with two siblings I was caring for—Andy (9 months) and Jake (3 years). As the snow began falling like in a fairytale, we bundled up and rushed outside. Andy had the sweetest time tasting the fresh snow, bending down to reach it, while Jake and I built the “most gigantic” snowman—at least in his eyes. Just before heading back inside, Jake looked at the snowman and said he needed to knock it down so it wouldn’t be alone during the night. That moment stayed with me—so simple, yet so deeply reflective of a child’s empathy and imagination.
