A little bit about me

Most little girls grew up wanting to be a princess. I grew up wanting to be Mary Poppins; after all she is practically perfect in every way.

I have dedicated my career to helping children and adolescence. I began my journey as an undergraduate at UCR while working as an AVID tutor and a tutor under the “No Child Left Behind Act”; two organizations committed to help students become college ready.

I transitioned to applied behavioral analysis and early intervention therapy for young children as I saw the benefits of starting therapy early for special needs individuals.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, I have a grasp on basic ASL ; I can finger spell and communicate basic wants and needs typical for toddler.

I enjoy baking, gardening, legos, puzzles, video games, etc. I firmly believe any fun activity, and the not so fun (chores), can be made into a teaching moment. Whether that be academically educational or socially educational.
