Hello, my name is Adriauna! I am very outgoing and a hard worker. I love children with all my heart and I am even going to school to be an ultrasound technician! I am a very creative person and have been around children all my life(as I am the oldest of 6)! I can paint, sing, play instruments, sew, you name it and I can do it! I love to help children express their passions through all different kinds of activities. I am a very patient person and will always make time for everyone. I can also work with special need children, my youngest sibling has Autism and I have taken care of them since the beginning. I understand that you need to have a certain patience and compassion when working with special need individuals and I am all for it! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am the oldest of 5 siblings, I have babysat for multiple family friends throughout the years, I was a volunteer for certain children services at multiple libraries for 8 years, I have volunteered at schools in my district, I have sang for the children at the James cancer hospital, and I have sang for the children at a wreck facility around Christmas time for 3 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

singing, coloring, painting, crafting, going on walks, hide' n' seek (other games like that in such), swimming, going to the park, dancing, playing with toys, and so much more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about a nanny is to be patient....kids are not adults, they are meant to make mistakes and learn from them. No one is ever going to be perfect and I certantly don't expect a young child to worry about doing everything right. They should never have to doubt if they are a 'good kid' based on how many times they got told no in a day. I personally love watching kids grow and have their personalities blosom as they do:)

My experience with special needs children...

I have a sister who has Austism and I have taken care of her my whole life. I understand the patience, creativity, and understanding needed to take care of special needs children. My sister is currently 10 years old so I do know my way around special need children. I have also delt with 3 chidren who were dislexic, had ADHD, and had type 1 diabetes. I worked for them and took care of all there mental needs and their dietary needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is always the initial breaking point in which you're delveloping a relationship where you and the child/children just laugh and have the most fun ever. Everyone is just so in tune with themselves that they are truly feeling happiness throughout the whole day!:)
