Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a student teacher for a year working with 2nd graders (ages 7-8) and 5th graders (ages 10-11) , and lifeguard for 4 years at a family based aquatic park and was promoted to assistant manager. I also have babysat for many years for children of all ages with people who trusted me and will also be listed as references. I grew up in a big family where I also cared for brothers, cousins, nieces and nephews all my life.

I love going on any adventure thrown my way, and love making all things kid friendly. I’m very active and can make anything a fun time. Having fun playtime with toys, coloring, screen time, and outdoor time is right up my alley.

The most important part of being a nanny is providing safe, reliable, and nurturing care while supporting a child’s development. I’m not just supervising, I’m helping shape their growth. That means keeping them safe, building trust, encouraging learning and good behavior, and communicating well with parents so everyone stays on the same page.

I’ve worked with nonverbal and autistic children and have family members that are also autistic. I’m not licensed to work with special needs children but have while babysitting and always make the correct accommodations to their needs.
