The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me is realizing that parents are trusting me with something they created. The fear/panic is in all parents when they leave their child. It is a gift to have a child and a gift to care for one. If a parent is out all day and trusting me to take care of their world in human form I will always give 110% because with the respect and trust with something so pure and angelic I feel it’s necessary to dedicate my time and my heart to the children. Some people do it for the money only. I do it because nothing warms my heart more than seeing happy children and parents. I once was a sad child so I’d do everything in my power so no one else can we’ve experienced or feel what I did as a child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have recently took care of a special needs child who is 3 years old. It’s unfortunate her circumstances she had going on at home so I agreed to allow her to stay with me for 2 weeks. It was great and she didn’t want to leave. I never discriminate and I feel these children need the extra love and effort. They deserve it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve had so many! But my favorite would be when I took some kids to sky zone and I was scared out of my mind to jump. All I heard was “Auntie jump!!!!!” As I turned and noticed everyone’s eyes on me I jumped with them and ended up not getting off u til time was up

My experience working with kids goes a little further than what I was able to specify in that particular section: I grew up taking care of my younger cousins while our parents worked or went back to school to pursue their careers. I also volunteered at my church from ages 14 to 16 caring for children ages 2-4. In high school I was a TA for the special needs gym class and volunteered in the special education classroom at the neighboring elementary school.
