I’ve worked as a pre-K 4 teacher assistant where I led morning activities such a music and movement, cleaned up after breakfast, assisted with handing out lunches, worked on crafts, read books, and assisted with lessons learning to write, and bringing students to and from their classes.
I’ve also worked in a daycare setting working with up to six infants at a time. I’ve gotten bottles warmed, kept them on a strict nap schedule, enjoy bringing them for strolls outside, read books, and doing music and movement time. For the tiny babies understand the importance of tummy time which helps build their muscles for the next stage of growth. It is so fun and rewarding watching them grow.

I have experience working with a special needs gentleman. I understand the importance of structure and routine and helping push them to try new things. I transport to community events such as dances or banquets, and help assist him making lunch or baking dessert. We practice parking lot safety and working on social skills such as eye contact or remembering our wallet for outings.
