Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have coached various K-12 sports such as football, volleyball and swim. I have been a lifeguard and a WSI swim instructor for 5 years now, working with children, building their confidence, and teaching them necessary water safety skills all the way from parent-tot to competitive swim teams. I also have experience with a city-organized recreation center day care!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading stories allowed and playing music for the kids. Board games are always fun! If the weather permits, going on walks to and at parks is always a joy. If the number of kids is few enough for me to safely keep an eye on in the water, pools are great for getting out that silly energy! I am experienced and passionate about teaching water safety skills which could present itself to be educational for the children if they are comfortable. I also enjoy having the kids show me cool tricks or things that they are interested in. :)
My experience with special needs children...
Two of my little brothers have autism, and my little sister has cerebral palsy. I am confident and comfortable being around special needs children :)
