More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to my professional childcare experience, I have also spent many years caring for children within my family. I have assisted with supervising children of various ages, helping with daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, organizing activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring a safe and positive environment. Through caring for my younger relatives, I have developed patience, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in a variety of fun, interactive, and educational activities that encourage creativity, learning, and confidence. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, nature walks, sensory activities, educational games, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning exercises. I especially enjoy helping children explore new ideas and develop new skills while making learning enjoyable and engaging. One of the things I love most about working with children is that they often teach me something new as well. Whether it’s seeing the world from a different perspective, discovering a new interest, or learning through their curiosity and creativity, I value the opportunity to grow alongside the children I care for.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued, understood, and encouraged to be themselves. I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, and someone who genuinely cares about their well-being and development. Being a nanny is about more than simply supervising children—it’s about building trust, fostering confidence, supporting their growth, and becoming a positive role model in their lives. I take pride in helping children learn, explore, and reach developmental milestones while providing families with peace of mind knowing their child is in caring and capable hands.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a shy child become more confident and comfortable expressing themselves. When I first started caring for them, they were very quiet and hesitant to try new things or interact with others. Over time, through patience, encouragement, and creating a supportive environment, I watched them gradually come out of their shell. Seeing them gain confidence, participate in activities, and become excited to share their thoughts and accomplishments was incredibly rewarding. What made the experience even more special was the relationship I built with the entire family. Knowing that I played a positive role in their child’s growth meant so much to me. To this day, I still keep in touch with many of the families I have worked with, and it is heartwarming to see the children continue to grow and thrive. Building lasting relationships and making a meaningful impact on families is one of the reasons I love working with children.
