I have been working as a childcare provider at a daycare since I was 16 years old that cares for children 9 months to 12 years old. I have also been babysitting since I was 13 years old, and was a nanny last summer!

Having a great connection with the children but also the parents as well. Being comfortable with a family is the most important part, so the children will be excited and have fun when I am with them, but also so they listen!
My experience with special needs children...
I have little experience with special needs children, however I am absolutely willing to get more experience! I used to spend my free hours during middle/high school in the special education room and help out, as well as have been around children with special needs during my sorority's philanthropy service in college this year.
