More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I coached cheer for 2 years, working with children ages 3 years old to 13 years old. I've had years of experience babysitting/nannying children from infants to the age of 16. I've tutored elementary school children in all subjects, as well as mentored them when the opportunity presented itself.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I thoroughly enjoy doing learning activities with children, reading to them, and helping them with their homework. I also love taking children outside to play or to the park, swimming in the summer, and to fun activities they may enjoy. Lastly, a fan favorite, a good old movie night. I love setting up popcorn, candy, and blankets for the kids and making watching their favorite movies the best experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me about being a nanny is building strong connections, trust, and relationships with families, keeping the children safe, and providing them with the best experience possible every single day. I think it's important for children to feel safe and secure in my care, as well as cared for according to their needs.

My experience with special needs children...

In the last few years, I've had the opportunity to participate in different fun activities with special needs children. An organization I was a part of in high school held a Special Olympics at my school, in which I volunteered; I helped special needs children do various activities such as play basketball and soccer, hula hoop, and do obstacle courses. We also sat down with them to complete art or writing, help them eat, or host fun parties with enrichment activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is always setting up the kids' favorite movies, letting them help me make popcorn or bake cookies, and creating a fun experience for them right in the living room. I love that I can create bonds with all children in different ways by being excited for the things they love.
