Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depends on the ages but with babies I enjoy sensory activities, mainly because babies pay attention a lot more than you would think and sensory activities help a lot especially when they’re engaging on a daily! With bigger kids however I love being outdoors and running around and letting them let their energy out, one thing I like more about the bigger kids is that they have A LOT of energy to let out and sometimes being out all day is something they need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me as a nanny is nurturing, being able to build a deep and loving relationship and providing a safe environment. Being enthusiastic is also very important, being a nanny requires a lot of responsibility and long days and weeks so being excited about work and having fun with it just makes my job even better.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had experience caring for a child who was 4 years old and autistic, it was my first job ever dealing with a child with special needs but it taught me a lot that I didn’t realize but every child is different and reacts to things in different ways so really understanding your child’s need and wants is something I try to learn quickly, especially if it’s a recurring job.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment of all time would have to be the time I had witnessed a baby start crawling for the first time! Reason it was very special is cause I had watched him since he was a newborn and noticed just how Curious he was and how much he wanted to do! So watching him learn to crawl and move was very exciting and it felt like an accomplishment because we would do lots of tummy time and activities to help him to start!
