Activities I enjoy doing with children...
include tummy time, developmental play, sensory activities, and reading with infants. With toddlers, I enjoy music, lullabies, imaginative and pretend play, building with blocks, LEGOs, and magnetic tiles, while learning through play. With older children, I enjoy reading, coloring, creative projects, puzzles, and hands-on activities that allow them to explore their interests, be creative, and simply enjoy being themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
the heart you bring into a home. I think that is something that can be easily overlooked because it isn't always something you can see right away, but it is something children and families feel. Showing up with genuine care, patience, and a willing heart is something I naturally bring into the homes I serve. Children know when they're genuinely cared for, and I believe that starts with giving my whole heart. Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, heard, accepted, and free to be themselves. My hope is that every child feels deeply cared for, every parent feels supported, and every family feels a little lighter because I was there.
The most important part about being a nanny...
the simple, everyday moments that happen naturally throughout the day and remind me a child feels safe and cared for. It could be a conversation about their day, laughing together during play, seeing their excitement when they share something they love, or watching them grow more confident in who they are. Those moments are so special to me because they show the trust and connection that has been built over time.
