In 1998 I worked with a special needs child in his school and day program. We did activities he enjoyed. He enjoyed water play and learned so much from it.

When a child I cared for a child who was 5 and he would become very frustrated if he didn’t get it on the first try; surprisingly through time when I explained to him that it takes time and he wouldn’t get it all the time one day he turned to me and said I know Ms. Alanna I will get it right soon. I was so happy and proud.
