Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have also volunteered at a community center to watch children ages 6months-13 years old. I would watch them from 4pm-6pm, it was mainly a after school program. During this volunteer program, I fed the all children snacks, and bottle fed the youngest;I would also play fun games with the little ones, and I would always make sure help the older kids with their homework.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy reading books, arts and crafts, and playing little games indoors for ex: indoor hide and seek. Outdoors I love playing tag/freeze tag, duck duck goose, painting, chalk drawings, building snowmen (during the winter) and water balloons (during summer). My mind is very creative so I would try to always keep the children entertained.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for one baby girl who had Down syndrome. At the time she was 3 years old, and she was so very precious! I also watched her 5 year old sister at the time too so I would make sure they were entertained, had meals/snacks prepared, and were ready for bedtime.
