A little bit about me

I am a mother of four boys (twins 23 ) (15 &13 years) I have one grandchild who is actually being born as I write this! I have and a bunch of nieces and nephews all of witch I have cared for full-time to part-time or just when I am needed from birth until now! I love kids and even before I had my own children I babysat for family and family friends as a teenager and for friends after I had my own children I have successfully managed 10 kids at one time not often but I have with no issues at all thankfully, I enjoy teaching little ones ABC's and 123's singing and having little dance parties as well as reading them stories and coloring matter of fact my kids could count to 10 in Spanish and 20 at the age of two and knew all their ABC's, shapes and colors!! I find that children are sponges and if you make learning fun they soak it all up and before you know it they're smarter than you!! Also I like to let my kids get involved with cleaning and food!! They love it!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel like you need to let children be active and learn from all that they do and introduce them to many different learning experiences such as cleaning and cooking also I feel that it's important to set clear boundaries and rules and let them know in a cam man or if they did something they shouldn't have and be reasonable based on age about time out and discipline also that they should be rewarded when they do good and always listen to them and put their needs above your own children are precious and need to know they are!! I feel that the most important part is that a child always feel safe and respected and that they get the best care possible and have fun!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

When my niece was watching a movie and she didn't know I was watching, she was following the steps and song word for word step by step of the movie and perfectly ( she was 2 btw) it was so sweet and amazing that she knew it all!! After she seen me she made me pick her up and make her fly because that was the only part she could not do on her own lol my arms were like jelly by the end of the day!!
