Hello, my name is Alejandra but I like to go by Alex! I have a son who is almost one year old and I love watching him learn and grow— and I would absolutely love to be a part of your little one’s development, as well! I think I would be a great fit for your family because I have a lot of experience with caring for children of all ages. I am great with age appropriate language, activities, and setting up any routines approved by you. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and I know basic words in American Sign Language. I am accommodating and respectful of any rules, routines, or expectations that are set by parents or caregivers. I currently work part time at a day care; therefore, I have great knowledge on how to properly engage with children to promote proper communication skills and being able to “play to learn”. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a lot of experience with children, but
I first started doing daycare when I was sophomore in high school. I did all three years until I graduated high school. Then I was a nanny for 5 children while I attended college and had a part time job. Now, I work part time at a daycare in Draper.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being able to do all kinds of activities with children, such as: playing with toys, going outside to explore, having circling time, reading books, learning new words and patterns, dancing and doing arts and crafts. I know children can become restless sometimes and I think it is important to not stay on one topic for too long. As long as kids are being entertained and having fun while being educational, I believe we can all have fun while learning and discovering new things everyday!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being a nanny because I think it is so rewarding being able to watch babies and kids grow and learn. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that I am making a positive change and bring a caring presence in the lives of these innocent little souls.
