A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Alex! I recently moved back to Rhinelander after living in the Madison area for 3 years, and I am looking to stay in the childcare field. My previous job was at the Goddard School in Sun Prarire. I worked with children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. After six months of working with all ages, I became the assistant teacher in the two-year old classroom. Next, I completed my certification in lead teaching as well. Because of all of my education at Goddard, I am proficient at diapering and potty training, food safety, time-management, housekeeping, communication with families, and I am CPR certified. Having had my own classroom, I worked with an abundance of children. I love nothing more than creating a safe relationship with children and fostering a nurturing and educational enviroment. Working with children is where my passion is, and I cannot wait to participate more in the field and finish my Early Learning Childhood Education Degree!

My experience working with special needs children ranges from working with developmentally behind children to children on the autism spectrum. I have hands-on experience with children with different emotional and physical needs. One of my biggest strengths is patience and understanding.
