I am from Charlotte, NC and currently attending school at the University of Wilmington as a freshman! I have nannied for 2 families in the time span of 3 years. I first cared for a 6 month old boy for 1 year , and a 3 year old boy with special needs for 2 years. I have been babysitting children anywhere from age newborn to 12 years old for about 3 and a half years now. I am a very active, outgoing, reliable, patient, and responsible person. And most importantly I absolutely love kids and truly have a passion in caring for them. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I nannied for a 6 month old boy until he was about a year and half. I watched him every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-9 and every other Saturday. Then I moved states and became a part time nanny for a 3 year old boy with autism for 2 years before moving to Wilmington. I watched him every weekday from 1-5. I was responsible for picking him up from school everyday, toilet training, light housekeeping, and occasional meal prep upon request. I have also been an occasional babysitter for many families with a variety of age group

My experience with special needs children...

I nannied for a 3 year old with autism for 2 years, I watched him every weekday from 1-5. I was able to really help him grow and advance based on my prior experience in caring for children with special needs. I volunteer every summer as a camp counselor for special needs kids, my mom is also a special education teacher and I have babysat for quite a few of her students. I know a lot of ABA Therapy tactics and how to deal with neurodivergent behaviors.
