Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with church daycares tremendously, where children of all ages come in to expand their knowledge of the Lord. I was an assisting manager for the churches summer camps, and worked my way up to that position by starting as a camp counselor years ago! I also worked at the YMCA in the Childcare for a year, working with children from gthe ages 10 months-12 years. I am currently a high school softball coach, and also a travel softball coach for the ages 14-18.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing activities with children to keep them active, maybe their sport of choice or even just a walk in the park, or day at the playground. I also love allowing children to express themselves through drawing and coloring! I am also willing to help with homework or other activities as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is respect, teaching, supervision, and opportunities! Respecting the family's houses, beliefs, requirements, parenting methods, and personal belongings is essential to starting and continuing a job! Helping kids with homework, and social interactions is a large part of being a nanny as well. Correct supervision is something that will always sit close with me because it is my responsibility to take care of your children, and I will do everything in my power to give my 100%.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with many special needs children in the past, I was a teachers assistant all throughout high school. I also get along with them very well, and understand them on a different level because I have studied behaviors and teaching methods in college.
