Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked a summer as a camp counselor for kids k-6 and also worked at an afterschool program for kids k-8! I’ve also spent many summers babysitting my own 4 younger siblings and children of friends and family! I also used to nanny for a family with a child with special needs, so I have experience in that as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is connecting with the kids and being someone they feel like they can trust and also have fun with! I had many nanny’s growing up that it was a dread for them to come over, and I never want to be that person to kids I nanny! It’s also important for me to grow a connection with the parent(s) and have good communication with them!
My experience with special needs children...
I used to nanny for a family, 2 children, one of which suffers from sever cerebral palsy. I still work with this family from time to time and it is so much fun! Helping this child and seeing her accomplish new things and learn is such a rewarding experience!
