More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was the nanny for a family from when their son was 3 months old to 3 1/2 years old. I have babysat about a dozen different kids through an agency in New York. In my current position at the library I either assist with or am responsible for leading storytime and other arts and crafts activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor: arts and crafts or playing with toys, listening to music, reading… mostly just like to follow their lead and see what we end up getting up to. Of course, it all depends on children’s age and temperament!

Outdoor: Hikes/walks, safe exploring.

A lot of dancing around and being goofy! I love that age where toddlers are still learning how to move around and can get a little out of hand and redirecting all that energy to being goofy together with silly dance moves.
