A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Alexandra, everyone calls me Alexa for short. I'm a full-time college student at CSUCI, it is my third year this year. I have worked with kids from ages 2-12 years old at Kumon a tutoring place for 4 years. I also have been working at the YMCA for 2 summers as a camp counselor, during the school year for the after-school program, and also as a PE coach at the kids' schools, and lastly as a swim instructor. I love working with kids. My goal is to apply to the nursing program next year and become a Labor and Delivery nurse and then work my way up to become a nurse practitioner. I'm willing to pick up kids from school and do after-school activities with them, do their laundry, light housekeeping, and run errands. I am also CPR certified and first aid certified. I also speak Spanish, English, and a little bit of ASL.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

For little kids, I would love to make them sensory bins. There is a bunch of them to do. As well as taking them out on walks and taking them to the park. Older kids I would have them make crafts, if they play sports I am willing to take them to their practices if they have any.

The number one priority is to keep the kids safe no matter what. I love to leave an impact on the kids' lives and to have a good relationship with the kids and family.
