I believe that it is important to understand that kids are not just mini-adults. Their brains are still developing and oftentimes need help learning healthy emotional processing skills. I want to work on that with them.
I love baking and cooking and gardening. I'd love to cook with the kiddos and teach them kitchen safety. I love music despite having no musical talents to speak of-- let's have impromptu dance parties and sing loudly off-key to whatever music is playing!

I adore cooking and baking with kids. I think it's an excellent way to give them opportunities to learn both theoretical basics like math and science, practical skills and coordination, and it has a built-in reward aspect. I also think it's a great opportunity for kids to get to make a bit of a controlled mess with built-in opportunities for building good cleaning habits!
I also adore a good zoo, aquarium, and park trip. Great opportunity for learning about animals, climate, and earth sciences while also giving them fun built-in activities.
