Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
have over 6 years of experience working with children from infancy through age 16 in many different settings. My experience includes nannying and babysitting, preschool/daycare, teaching, working with children with autism, church childcare and youth programs, as well as working as a children’s ski instructor. I’ve also helped my mom on her ranch, including assisting with camps and activities for kids.
Working with children in so many different environments has taught me how to adapt to each child’s personality and needs while keeping them safe, engaged, and supported. I love creating activities, being outdoors and active with kids, and giving them a space where they can have fun, learn, and feel comfortable being themselves.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love finding fun and creative ways to keep kids engaged! Some of my favorite activities are baking together, arts and crafts, games, puzzles, reading, and coming up with creative projects based on their interests. I also love getting kids outside and exploring—going to parks, playgrounds, zoos, aquariums, museums, nature walks, and other age-appropriate adventures. I enjoy letting kids be curious, get a little messy, use their imaginations, and try new things. I’m always happy to tailor activities to each child’s age, personality, and interests!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is leading with compassion and kindness. Every child is different, and I think it’s important to take the time to understand who they are, what they need, and what makes them feel supported. I want the kids I care for to know that they are safe, heard, and cared about, while also giving them the encouragement and space to learn, grow, and be themselves. At the end of the day, I want to be someone they can trust and genuinely enjoy having in their lives.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with children with autism, including working as a Registered Behavior Technician and providing one-on-one support. I have worked with children with a wide range of communication styles, sensory needs, behaviors, and levels of independence. Through this experience, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, understanding each child as an individual, and adapting my approach to what helps them feel safe and supported. I’m comfortable with routines, transitions, sensory needs, communication support, emotional regulation, and creating activities around each child’s interests and abilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny experiences was getting to teach one of the kids I cared for how to ski. Skiing is a huge passion of mine, so being able to share something I love with them was really special. Watching them learn, gain confidence, and eventually fall in love with skiing themselves was such a rewarding experience. They now compete in skiing, which makes it even more special knowing I got to play a small part in helping them discover something they truly love!
