I absolutely love doing any kind of craft or art. I also like playing video games and Legos even though I’m terrible at both. I like playing board games and I’m an amazing fort builder. I grew up with lots of sisters so I love everything girly like painting nails and makeup.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Playing with the kids and making them feel loved and special while also having boundaries.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for a child who has both Autism and Down syndrome. I had to learn how to feed him through a tube in his belly. I still take care of him sometimes but he doesn’t have the feeding tube anymore. I’ve watched a couple of children with autism. One I still watch and he just turned 15. And I’ve Cared for a little girl with cystic fibrosis, who can’t eat anything without taking enzymes first. I also had to learn how to do her therapy that involves a vest she puts on that loosens the mucus inside her lungs every morning and night.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was my birthday and the little girl I Nanny who’s 8 gave me the sweetest birthday card. She drew a huge birthday cake on it with my name and inside she wrote how I was the best nanny ever it was so sweet and I had it on my fridge for months.
