My little brother was born with congenital defects, making mobility harder on him, and alongside that he is on the spectrum. I’ve helped care for him his entire life. Aside from that I’ve cared for multiple children with ASD in my classroom with no trouble, it’s all about adaptation!

A moment that has stuck with me forever is when I taught a 2 year old to blow her nose! It suddenly hit me how much these babies rely on us. Their lives are truly made of a million little lightbulb moments!
