My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I supported children with special needs and helped them work toward their individual goals. Through this role, I developed patience, compassion, communication skills, and the ability to work with children who have different behavioral and developmental needs. I also gained experience communicating with parents, supervisors, and coworkers professionally. This experience strengthened my interest in helping children and families, particularly in social work and therapy.
