• I am the oldest daughter of five, and caring for my siblings has been a constant part of my life from a young age that still continues to this day! Growing up, I naturally stepped into a caregiving role, supporting my family and helping raise my siblings, including two of who are on the autism spectrum! These experiences have shaped my patience, empathy, and ability to understand different needs and personalities. I also have hands-on experience in daycare and preschool settings, where I’ve been able to combine my love for children with structured learning and play. I am creative, energetic, FULL of childlike wonder and I have a genuine passion for nurturing, supporting, and providing a safe, joyful environment where kids can grow and thrive! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently work in a preschool where I am responsible for supervising multiple young children between the ages of 2 and 5. In this role, I care for their daily needs, including changing diapers, providing comfort, and ensuring their safety throughout the day. I also lead circle time to help set a positive tone for the day and support curriculum-based activities that encourage learning, routine, and not only social but emotional development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy spending time with children in ways that encourage creativity, movement, and connection. I love reading books together, playing imaginative games, and letting kids lead with their creativity. I enjoy going for walks, playing gentle sports based on the child’s interests, and joining them in child-friendly games like Roblox. Dance parties are also a favorite, bringing energy, laughter, and fun into our time together while helping children express themselves and feel confident! If a child is more relaxed that’s okay too, I love downtime just as much as fun time!!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The best part of being a nanny is building meaningful connections with children and watching them grow, learn, and gain confidence over time. Creating memories that will last a lifetime through everyday moments of play, learning, and comfort is the most rewarding part. Being able to give children the kind of consistent support that many of us may have lacked as young children makes the role even more meaningful, and it’s something I truly value. Knowing that I alone can provide a safe, nurturing environment where the children feel valued is what makes working in this field so special to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including two of my siblings and three children I currently care for at the preschool where I work. Through this, I have learned how to calmly support children when they feel overwhelmed and how to approach them in ways that help them feel seen, heard, and understood. I’ve found that patience is key, a willingness to learn is necessary, and maintaining consistent routines is essential in creating a safe and supportive environment where they can thrive.
