A little bit about me

Hello! I go by Lexy for short. I have a 6 month old baby girl (that I would love to bring with me). I’ve baby sat when I was younger here and there. I have worked in the medical field since I was 18. I’m prior military, and have been previously certified for first aid and CPR. I am willing (and likely) to obtain these certifications again and keep them current if need be! I have my bachelors degree in healthcare management, and have taken a few classes in child development.

I like to get out and do things, even if that means going to the pet store to look at the fish. I’m a great baker and don’t mind cooking. While I have not formally worked in childcare, I can assure you that I am knowledgeable, hard working, and patient.

Having my own child I understand the importance of reliable and trustworthy childcare! Your children will be my best little buddies and we can explore and learn together.

I used to babysit when I was younger. I have watched multiple children at once for a few hours at time. I have also worked at a daycare center as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Walks, parks, aquariums, museums, library (especially story times). We can read, play games, bake, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny is a great way to give kids a more personalized experience with their care. Continuity with care givers allows for children to become comfortable and enjoy the new activities they look forward to doing. Nanny’s are a great way to give children and families a more personalized routine that fits their lifestyle better.

My experience with special needs children...

I have watched children with autism and Down syndrome for short periods of time. I have also volunteered for the special needs Olympics and spent time helping with a children’s fair.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A younger girl I used to watch occasionally used to run off her bus after school and would stop to hug me and tell her mom that I was her best friend before entering her house. It was an incredibly sweet moment!
