A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Alexis, I was born and raised in Alaska and love the outdoors, arts and crafts, reading, any type of adventuring, sports, and so on but also know the value of down time and relaxation. Children have been my passion from a very young age and I continue to grow that passion as the years go on. I love being able to teach and encourage growth while having fun and creating a safe, happy, and organized environment. I’ve worked with a wide range of age groups specializing in infant and toddler care but do have experience with ages up to 14 as well as doing some small class settings. I have experience in creating and implementing curriculum for infant through preschool age groups as well as basic sign language and French. I am CPR/first Aid/SIDS certified, and have certifications in early childhood development as well as experience working with special needs children including autism, ADHD, ODD, speech delay, etc. and taking them to therapies.
