She did light house cleaning and cooking which helped me out tremendously. I have worked with several children on the spectrum, including kids that were nonverbal and/or violent. Patients is key. Most of the time children on the spectrum don’t feel emotions or pain the same way people are used to. In result, it’s harder to communicate what they’re needing, patients and consistency is best.
