Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a little brother who is soon to turn 3. I also have many cousins under the age of 12. I love being around kids and would rather spend time at the kids table than with adults sometimes. I have experience with newborns and young babies thanks to my little brother and there are also many toddlers and older kids in my family that I see often. I enjoy to care for kids and I find a lot of joy doing it.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to hear them talk about things they are into and anything else that they bring up. I love to also play games with them and now that I have a brother who is a toddler, I try and entertain him as much as I can so that he doesn't get a lot of screen time. I like to play with his toys with him and we color, sing, and dance. Playing in the backyard is something he enjoys a lot and we I enjoy playing puzzles with him. With my older cousins who are around 10 to 15, I like to play games with them with toys as well as dress up.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have much experience with special needs children but my moms friend has two sons with special needs who I have been around a couple times. I understand it takes a bit more care and attentiveness but I am a fast learner and would love to take the time to learn.
