A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Alexis. I'm new to the area and seeking my first nanny opportunity for a wonderful family. I'm a kind, compassionate and caring person born and raised in Yakima, WA. As the oldest of my siblings, care giving has always been a part of my day-to-day. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession a 15, and I've never looked back.

My background caring for infants, toddlers, and youth started when I was about 16. I always tended to be referred to family members and friends which was great because I was able to experience new memories and gain new relationships with both the parents and children.

In my free time, I enjoy shopping, reading and on my day off I enjoy deep cleaning my home. I'm looking forward to finding the next family that I'll be working with long-term. I'm the oldest out of 4. I raised my siblings and until this day I care for them as my own. I have always been referred to family members and friends so I've done little babysittter gigs on the side.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy making forts, coloring, and making crafts. Days that are cold I love to make the kids feel comfortable and have a movie time where we make popcorn and make a bed out of blankets and just enjoy our time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when you realize when you notice that children are having a blast. You see a huge smile on their face and ask to do more activities.
