My most recent nanny job was in 2022. I cared for a little boy in Hammond. He was 5 months old when I started and 8 months when my position ended. I engaged in play, fed him baby food, bottles, changed diapers, monitored his own playtime, and made sure he was happy and healthy at all times.
I’m also stay at home mom to my own son, who is 11 months old. I do all the mom stuff with him, as well as limiting screen time and implementing hands-on and sensory experiences every day. The vast majority of our toys are Montessori style (no batteries).
