The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Building trust with both the children and their families, encouraging learning and independence, and being someone they can rely on every day is what makes being a nanny so rewarding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of being a caregiver is building strong, trusting bonds with the children I work with and watching their confidence grow over time. One of my most meaningful moments was when a nonverbal child I worked with successfully advocated for themselves. Seeing them communicate their needs and make their voice heard after all the progress they had made was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love working with children and being part of their growth and development.
