Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
(CAST) child abuse services team. A team of multidisciplinary members who work together to protect children and bring the perpetrators to justice. My main task was to cater to the child and comfort them as well as allow them to be heard. I also guided them when emotions and behaviors began to manifest physically. The purpose was to help generate a net of safety and to assist law enforcement and medical personnel to connect to the children without intimidation.

I have three disabled cousins that I live with. They are an every day experience but I have learned to handle them with care and give them my attention the most.

The most memorable moment was creating a video with the child and a picture collage for their parents of their grandparents that passed away. It was one of the most thoughtful and rewarding experiences I have ever experienced and it was all orchestrated by the child.
