A little bit about me

I have worked as a professional nanny in the past for over 15+ yrs, (for professionals). I helped raise & loved all of "my nanny children" as my own. I also did "nanny share" with 2 infants at ages 6 wks & 3 mos. old, it was like having twins. I was a partial live-in (5 yrs) for an employer that traveled to China & NY for 2 to 3 wks at a time, I was in full charge of everything.
I was also a Massage Therapist for 12 yrs. I then took some time off to be a stay at at home mom. My daughter just turned 18 yrs old this year.
I'm excited to be getting back to what I love doing, which is child care. I've cared for all ages from 6 wks old - 15 yrs old professionally (well, newborn- 18 yrs old, counting my daughter). I love children of all ages, and all pets. I'm a very caring woman.
I'm 49 yrs old, but still a kid at heart & very active. I love teaching & playing with kids. I'm honest & hard working.

The most important part about being a nanny is following the parents guidelines and communicating everything with them, and putting the children's safety & needs 1ST, Always.

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for my best friends' autistic son with Asperger's Syndrome, throughout his 15 yrs of life. I was also a nanny for a child with ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) & ADD & ADHD. Also another that had seizures, non epileptic, in which he had one in my care & stopped breathing. I opened his airway & kept him stable until paramedics arrived, Amen. My best friend also has a grandson with a slight case of cerebral palsy that I've cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are knowing I'm making a positive difference in "my nanny kids" lives. Also when their little faces light up when they see my face upon arrival... and the when the love is reciprocated.
