A little bit about me

I have been working with a child with special needs for just about 4 years now. Im employed by the center for disability services currently so I'm technically not considered a nanny but I do everything that a nanny does. I also help with his younger brother. I have also worked with 2 young girls with disabilities in their home and did nanny type work as well. I have 2 children of my own ( 6&2). If i could bring my youngest ( and my son on school breaks etc) i could have a more open schedule. If not I could do nights and/or weekends. I am pretty flexible and also first aid and cpr certified. I also have an associates degree in Human Services.

I have 2 of my own kids ( 6&2). Ive worked with 4 different special needs children ages ranging from 1-8. I also volunteered at a summer camp for elementary school when I was a teenager.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Taking walks, going to the park, playing board games, blowing bubbles, playing with chalk, riding bikes, doing puzzles, reading.

Making sure the kids are safe and well taken care of. Also making sure they are having fun but also learning.
