My experience with special needs children...
I spent about a year with a child who had Autism and was non verbal. I believe I am patient and understanding and will do everything I can to help accommodate them. I know it’s not their doing and they are trying to communicate so I want to make sure they have the safest place and are understood.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There was one time I made a marble run with them and we laughed the whole time as we created so many different ways to race the marbles. One of the ways was just dropping them straight down the tube!
